City of Marceline is accepting applications for
a full time police officer. Applicants must be twenty one (21) years of age,
POST certified and have a high school diploma or GED. Applicants should
have knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government
regulations, the democratic political process, common safety rules, regulations,
procedures and practices to include effective restraint techniques, basic first
aid and CPR. Desired applicant will have strong communication, listening,
public relations, and organizational skills. Starting
Salary is $14.00 per hour with a competitive benefits package.
