The City of Marceline is accepting applications for a Water / Wastewater
Operator. Applicants must be able to
general supervision, performs a wide variety of skilled, semi-skilled duties in
the installation, repair and maintenance of systems used in the operation of the
City of Marceline water and wastewater distribution system; and performs related
work as assigned. Selected applicant will be required to operate and maintain a
range of construction equipment, including a variety of power and hand tools.
Applicants must be able to work in extreme weather
conditions and be available for overtime when required. This position requires
rotating weekend on-call duty.
high school diploma or GED is required. Possession of
a valid CDL driver's license or the ability to obtain one within six month of
hire is required. Preferred candidate will reside within the Marceline School
District or be willing to relocate within six months of hire. Salary is based
