CITY BOARD / COMMITTEE MEMBER APPLICATION
Board and Committee Members, with the
exception of the Airport Board are appointed at the May City Council
Meeting. Airport Board Members are appointed at the February City Council
Meeting.
Interested individuals interested in applying
to be a member of a Board or a Committee may fill out an
application and submit
it to the City Clerk at
lindsay.krumpelman@marcelinemo.us
or leaving it at Marceline City Hall. Board / Committee Applications
are accepted year round.
Marceline City Council Members are elected by the registered voters on the
first Tuesday in April during the Municipal General Election. Filing for
City Council opens 8:00 am on the seventeenth Tuesday prior the to the election
and closes at 5:00 pm the fourteenth Tuesday prior to the election per RSMo
115.127.5. All board meetings are open to the public.

RECREATION AND PARK
BOARD OPENINGS
At
their regular meeting on December 11th, the Marceline City Council approved
an increase in the number of members on the Recreation and Parks Board,
expanding it to nine (9) members, as requested by the Board. The City of
Marceline is seeking two (2) volunteers to fill these new positions.
Interested individuals must reside within the Marceline R-V school
district. Applications can be submitted to the City Clerk/ACM at Marceline
City Hall at 116 N Main Street USA, Marceline, MO 64658.
Applications received prior to the January 8, 2025 Council meeting will be
reviewed by the Mayor and City Council at their January meeting. The
application form can be found on the City’s website at
