New Professional Technology Services Company opening in Marceline

Marceline, MO The City and Marceline Industrial Development Authority (IDA) announces the opening of a new Technical Delivery Center in Downtown Marceline by CoffeeTree Group, a Professional Technology Services Company.  The new technology center will be located at 121 N. Main Street USA.

The public is invited to meet and greet CoffeeTree Group Company Officials at a reception at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 15th at 121 N. Main Street USA (next to Zurchers).  Also in attendance will be Senator Cindy O’Laughlin, Representative Rusty Black, Representative Ed Lewis, and officials from Missouri Department of Economic Development, Linn County Commission, and Marceline City Council Members.

CoffeeTree Group plans to initiate extensive internal renovation of the 4,500+/- square foot building and will use the latest technologies available to provide modern working facilities for employees.

Plans to develop its operations in Marceline were initiated by David Wiechmann (Founder) and James Wardrop (CEO) back in 2017 and brought to fruition with collaboration between City Officials, Linn County Commissioners, Missouri Department of Economic Development and the IDA.  When completed, the new 24/7/365 Technical Delivery Center is projected to employee 50+ employees from Marceline and the surrounding region.  CoffeeTree Group’s rural workforce model allows CoffeeTree Group to provide its IT Services at similar rates to an offshore solution.

“With many new projects currently in progress, CoffeeTree Group’s presence here on Main Street USA is the linchpin of a renaissance currently underway in Marceline,” said Richard Hoon, Marceline City Manager.   “We are enthusiastic about their planned investment and contributions through the rehabilitation of an older existing building and job growth in the area that will not only benefit Marceline, but the surrounding communities as well.”

The opening of CoffeeTree Group’s new Marceline, MO Technical Delivery Center is an important step in realizing future growth goals, as well as fulfilling inherent commitment to create American careers and to compete in the global professional services market.  Eric Rodman, Chief Sales Officer shared, “Once fully operational, CoffeeTree Group’s new Delivery Center is expected to generate annual revenues near $10 million”.
