Two new officers join the Marceline Police Department

 

 

Marceline, MO – The City of Marceline welcomes two of the newest members of the Marceline Police Department this month.  Officer Wendell Shrock began employment with the Ctiy on April 1, 2015, while Officer Rhonda Doke joined the City on April 8, 2015. 

 

Officer Rhonda Doke recently graduated from Drury University Law Enforcement Academy and was previously in nursing for 12 years as a CMT.  Officer Doke grew up in Pleasant Hope, Missouri and is a proud mother of two boys.  She enjoys spending time outdoors with her children, reading and art.  More recently, Officer Doke was guest speaker for the Drury Academy on Domestic violence.

 

Officer Wendell Shrock has been in Law Enforcement since 1997. He and his wife have been married for 18 years and have 10 children, 9 of whom are still living at home.  He accepted the call to the ministry in 2013 and will be completing his Bachelor of Science in Religion and Christian Counseling in Dec. 2015 and will be starting his MDIV in Jan. 2016. Officer Shrock is very active in his church and very involved with his family, who enjoy riding horses together.

 

Both officers are looking forward to their new career and life in Marceline.   On behalf of the City and its residents:  “Welcome to Marceline!”
