Multiple agency assistance leads to arrest

 

 

Marceline, MO – On March 25, 2015,  the Marceline Police Department led an investigation into a residential burglary resulting in the theft of a vehicle in the 300 block of West Santa Fe Street. The police department was assisted by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Brookfield Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

 

Officers received a report between the hours of 7 to 8 a.m. of a missing vehicle from the residence. The vehicle was recovered about 10 a.m. near Brookfield and a subject was taken into custody at that time.  John M. Catron, Jr., 28, of Marceline was arrested and charged with burglary, tampering with a motor vehicle, and driving while revoked. Catron’s bond was set at $50,000 cash only bond.

 

The Marceline Police Department would like to thank the members of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Linn County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Brookfield Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol whose effort’s in assisting with the investigation lead to the apprehension of Catron and the recovery of the vehicle.
