2023, Mayor Sallie Buck, on behalf of the City of Marceline, presented
Lifesaving Award plaques to Officer Amy Dunlap and Officer Jermey Nelson of the
Marceline Police Department in recognition for their fast and professional

actions. "As a nurse, I can
attest that Officers Dunlap and Nelson did exactly what they were trained to do
and without hesitation," stated Ms. McCollum. "for that, I am forever
greatful."
Following the presentation, Matt Bowen,
Administrator, and Scott Chrisman, Operations Manager, from the Linn County
Ambulance District, also presented Officer Dunlap with a Clinical Save Award for
the same action.
