This questionnaire was developed by the Graduate Community Survey Class in the
Department of Rural Sociology at the University of Missouri, under the
supervision of Dr. David O’Brien, Professor and Department Chair. The
purpose of the survey is to determine how Marceline citizens and those coming to
Marceline as tourists, artists and other visitors feel about Marceline community
arts, tourism and what would help increase the influence of local art and
tourism on community economic development. There is no right or wrong answers to
any of the questions and you may decide not to answer any or all of the
questions. Your responses will be kept entirely confidential. Your
name will not be associated with any responses. Reports from this survey
will only provide statistical summaries.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Darrell Gardner,
