Abstract-themed Exhibit opens January 20th


Marceline, MO - Are you anxious to get out of the house during all this cold weather?  Break out this weekend for the opening reception of the new abstract-themed exhibit at 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the North Missouri Arts Council (NOMO) Gallery located at 111 S. Main Street USA!  Come in and meet the artists. The opening reception and all exhibits at the gallery are free to the public. 


Many local artists from the Brookfield-Marceline area will be featured in this exhibit, including:

  • Mary Ann Reed

  • Richard Johnson

  • Barbara Garvey

  • Daniel Yarnell

  • Tracy McKenzie

  • Darlene Gardner

  • Darrell Gardner

  • Jana Russon

  • Pat Armin

The abstract exhibit will run until February 26th.  NOMO hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 9:00 am - Noon.

NOMO is a 501c3 organization.  Members of the public interested in supporting the gallery and the North Missouri Arts Council may help with an annual donation of $15 for students, $20 for a patron, and $25 for artists.  Checks can be made payable to NOMO and donations can be left at the gallery, or given to the Chris Ankeney, NOMO Treasurer.
