Pool Rules

GENERAL POOL RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED FOR YOUR SAFETY

  1. All children 7 years old and younger must be supervised by someone 16 years old or older at all times, this means that the parent/guardian must be in the pool with them, no exception to this policy. The maximum number of children 7 years old and younger to be supervised by 1 adult is 5.

  2. The lifeguard has the authority to establish any rule to prevent injury and accident and maintain safety.

  3. Running, dunking, and horseplay are not allowed.

  4. No outside food, drinks, or coolers may be brought into the aquatic facility. Food and drinks purchased at the concession must be kept in the designated area. Glass containers of any kind are not permitted in the facility. Birthday parties will be allowed to bring in pre-approved food & drinks.

  5. No smoking.  No smokeless tobacco.  No profanity.

  6. Flotation devices and water toys are subject to the approval of the pool staff. Flotation devices will be allowed only in the children’s area.

  7. Anyone with a rash, skin disease, open sores, athlete’s foot, or contagious infections will not be allowed in the pool without a written statement from a physician.

  8. Disposable diapers are not allowed due to water contamination. Children in diapers must wear a swim diaper. Diapers must be changed at the diaper changing stations located in restrooms.

  9. Dive only in the diving well. Back dives and somersaults from the edge are not permitted. No inward dives or gainers off the board. Dive straight off the end of the boards, not to the side with arms over head.

  10. Proper swimsuits attire must be worn at all times. Cutoffs, thongs, or other swimsuits determine inappropriate by management will not be permitted. Swimwear with zippers, buckles, rivets or any other metal ornamentation will not be allowed on the slides.

  11. This is a family friendly facility; please no intimate contact.

  12. The pool may be closed or its use limited at any time because of weather or operational difficulties. In case of lightning, all patrons will be cleared from the pool for 30 minutes for each sighted bolt.

  13. We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings.

  14. No hanging on the basketball rim or dunking basketballs.

Personal Conduct

  1. No running at any time.

  2. Dunking or rough play is not allowed.

  3. Abusive or profane language is prohibited.

  4. Towel snapping, towel fighting, or noodle fighting is not allowed.

  5. No back dives, flips, preacher seats, can openers, or pencil dives are allowed off the side of the pool.

  6. Playing on the ladders, entry ramps and lifeguard towers is not permitted.
