The Municipal Court provides judicial processing of citations. The Court has jurisdiction over criminal offenses punishable by fine only including:

     Traffic and parking citations
     Animal control cases
     Drug related offenses
and any other city ordinance violations

This jurisdiction only covers offenses which occur within the city limits of the City of Marceline.

Assessed fines are set by the Judge and determined by the facts and circumstances of your case. Call the court clerk at (660) 376-3528 for the fine amount. When a plea is entered and fine paid, you are waiving your right to trial. In addition, State-mandated fees and court costs are added to each fine.
